About

Sketch Comfort is a small shop built around original hand-drawn digital illustrations.

Some of the drawings are inspired by Nashville. Others come from wildlife, the neighborhoods I walk through, weird history, or whatever strange idea happens to get stuck in my (or my family's) head. Sometimes that's a an oddity like an angler fish re-imagined as a voodoo doll. Sometimes it's a family of tomatoes going about their daily lives. Sometimes it's a bridge I've walked across a hundred times before finally noticing something funny and interesting about it.

I've always enjoyed drawing, but my day job has taught me to slow down, pay attention, and look closely about the world around me. Sketch Comfort grew out of that same habit.

Everything you see here is original artwork that I drew myself using Procreate. I don't use AI-generated art or stock illustrations. Every design starts with a blank canvas and an idea that seemed weird or funny enough to chase. Shirts are printed to order and a 10% of profits from each piece sold supports local nonprofit organizations.

If something here makes you laugh, reminds you of a place you love, or simply makes you stop and look a little longer, then Sketch Comfort has done exactly what I hoped it would.

Thanks for stopping by. And stay curious out there.
